STORRS, Conn. – Join UConn football on Thursday, October 29 at 7pm, for the final of the #UConnTailgate series presented by the Connecticut Army National Guard, which features a retransmission of UConn’s 20-7 victory over South Carolina South at the 2010 PapaJohns.com Championship in Birmingham, Wing.
Andre Dixon was chosen as the most valuable player after running for 126 yards and a touchdown. Husky’s defense kept the Gamecocks a mere 205 yards in the afternoon, and South Carolina had 3-15 in third downhill conversions.
Similar to the previous four games in the #UConnTailgate series, the South Carolina game will be relayed via Facebook.com/UConnHuskies and we encourage fans to tweet live during the game, along with several alumni, using the hashtag #UConnTailgate.
