John Travolta called on his 67th birthday on Thursday with many good wishes from his friends and family.
Despite being his first birthday without his longtime wife Kelly Preston, who tragically died of breast cancer in the summer, his daughter Ella Travolta, 20, made sure he felt the love.
Writing a sweet tribute to her father, she called him a ‘best friend’ while talking about their relationship on social media.

The post accompanied a photo of the Pulp Fiction actor with Ella and her brother Benjamin, 10, in what appeared to be a back photo, as he had been bald in recent years.

The veteran actor seemed happy to be celebrating his birthday with his family when he called last year’s birthday on the set of Die Hart.
His and Ella’s TikTok video ‘Scott’s Slide’ has gone viral in recent weeks when they recreated their iconic Grease dance scene, which originally aired as a Super Bowl ad for Scott’s Miracle-Gro.

Preston, 57, kept her two-year battle against breast cancer a secret, as her representative said in a statement: ‘She has been under medical treatment for some time, with the support of her family and close friends.’
Her last social media tribute to Travolta came in the form of a post on Father’s Day, just weeks before his passing, when she called him ‘the best I know’, adding ‘we love you’ while she shared a family selfie.
