John Travolta is unloading the 48-acre, 20-bedroom complex he owned with his late wife Kelly Preston – and it’s a pretty spectacular piece of property on the private island of Islesboro, Maine. The well maintained property was presented in Architectural Digest in 1999 to honor its classic lines and extensive lands. Its decorator, Christopher B. Boshears, described his interior design style as an “English country house” with life in New England. “John and Kelly come to Maine to relax,” he told the magazine. “The house had to be comfortable, but the structure required elegance.”

Any new owner would be thrilled to use the 10,830 square foot home built in 1903 with Hollywood-appointed amenities.
