The approval rating for President Joe Biden’s work rose on Friday in three different polls after his victory in the stimulus and distribution negotiations for 100 million COVID-19 vaccines.
In a poll conducted by Reuters / Ipsos, 59% of voters said they approve of how Biden is handling his presidency, while 35% said they disapprove. The 59% approval rating is an increase of 5% over the previous week, as 54% said they approved their position as president.
The Reuters / Ipsos poll interviewed 1,005 Americans from March 17 to 18 and reported a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
Another survey conducted by the Global Strategies Group / GBAO Strategies found that approval for Biden’s work has increased by 3 percent compared to earlier this month. According to the survey, Biden received a 56% approval rating, with 33% stating that they approve strongly and 23% stating that they approve in some way. According to a survey conducted by the same companies on March 1, 53% of respondents approved Biden’s presidency, while 41% said the opposite.
Forty percent of respondents said they disapproved of how Biden handled the presidency, according to the most recent survey.
The Global Strategies Group / GBAO Strategies surveyed 1,337 American adults from March 11 to 15 and reported a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The third poll, conducted by The Hill / HarrisX, found that Biden’s approval rating increased by just 1 percent over the beginning of this month. According to the poll, 59 percent said they approve of how Biden took over as president, while 41 percent disapproved.
In two previous surveys conducted by The Hill / HarrisX from 24 to 6 February and 5 to 8 March, Biden received 58% approval and 42% disapproval.
The Hill / HarrisX poll surveyed 2,839 American adults from March 12 to March 14 and reported a margin of error of plus or minus 1.84 percentage points.
The increase in Biden’s approval rating in the three polls comes shortly after he signed his $ 1.9 trillion American Rescue Package and met his goal of 100 million vaccines more than a month before his 100th day in office.
On March 11, he signed the financial relief bill COVID-19, which provides eligible Americans with $ 1,400 direct stimulus checks, $ 350 billion in aid to state and local governments, and $ 130 billion in financing for help schools reopen safely.
“This historic legislation aims to rebuild this country’s backbone and give the people of this nation, the workers, the middle class, the people who built the country, a chance to fight,” said Biden before signing the project.
On Friday, the United States surpassed Biden’s goal of administering 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in his first 100 days in office.
In a video posted on Twitter Thursday night, Biden said: “Tomorrow we will reach a very important milestone that I promised: 100 million vaccines in people’s arms.”
According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 118 million Americans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while at least 41,934,629 Americans are now fully vaccinated.
