Apparently, Joe Biden’s first mass and Sunday’s departure from DC as president would not be complete without a bagel.

Apparently, Joe Biden’s first mass and Sunday’s departure from DC as president would not be complete without a bagel.

After attending mass at the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, which he attended when he was vice president, President Biden’s party made a stop at Call Your Mother, a delicatessen in Georgetown that is close to the church block.

Biden did not get out of the car during the parade, but a considerable crowd of several dozen people gathered at a nearby intersection to see the president.

According to the White House press team, Hunter Biden stayed in the store window for several minutes to take the order.

In a tweet after the visit, Call Your Mother said he was “thrilled to have an administrator again who will love everything DC has to offer – starting with sesame bagels !!”

According to NBC Washington, a WTOP news partner, Call Your Mother declined to say what the president and his team ordered, but said that a Secret Service agent placed “a very long order”.
