Joe Biden putting ‘Saudi Arabia first’ by stopping the Keystone XL pipeline: Sen. Daines

Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont., Believes that President Biden killing the Keystone XL pipeline shows that he is putting “Saudi Arabia first”, not American workers.

“It seems that he cares more about workers in Saudi Arabia than about workers in America,” said Daines in America’s Newsroom.

“This is going to have a direct effect [on] the wallets of the American people here in the middle of a pandemic. “

OBAMA PRAISES BIDEN BLITZ’S EXECUTIVE ORDER: ‘THIS IS A TIME OF BOLDNESS’

Biden signed a total of 17 executive orders minutes after entering the Oval Office for the first time on Wednesday. The orders reversed a series of policies from the Trump administration and covered areas that Biden identified as his priorities in the campaign, including the coronavirus pandemic and climate change.

In addition to stopping the Keystone XL pipeline project, Biden renewed the United States’ commitment to the Paris climate deal, just three years after President Trump withdrew support.

“This is a major infrastructure project that President Biden killed six hours after his presidency,” said Daines. “It’s outrageous and it’s going to get worse.”

Daines is also concerned about the Biden government’s plans to stop any new oil and gas leases on federal land. He said the government is giving in to “extreme left radicals” who defend the New Green Deal.

BIDEN SIGN 17 EXECUTIVE ACTIONS, ORDERS TO REVERSE TRUMP POLICIES, RESTORE OBAMA-ERA PROGRAMS ON THE FIRST DAY

“It is already beginning to be implemented,” he said. “We are seeing this before our eyes – it will kill jobs. It will increase energy prices.”

Daines added that this action raises national security issues as well.

“Thank God, we had this energy revolution in America to reduce our dependence on the Middle East,” he said. “[Biden’s action] reverses that course and puts dependency back in the Middle East. This is a terrible policy for our country. “

Daines said he believes these policies show that Democrats “are no longer friends” with the American worker.
