Joe Biden hugs grandson Beau at an unmissable moment on the opening day

Joe Biden and a young friend may have stolen the show during the primetime special “Celebrating America”, which aired live as part of his 2021 presidential inauguration.

Social media users immediately had a serious case of cuteness overload on Wednesday, January 20, while watching Joe’s relationship with his baby grandson Beau Biden, while keeping him in the White House. Seen in the tweet below, Demi Lovatodynamic performance of Bill Withers‘Lovely Day’ passed on the screen in front of them, and at times the child seemed to wave to the singer.

Son of joe Hunter Biden and filmmaker Melissa Cohen, who married in May 2019, welcomed young Beau in March 2020. The boy’s name honors Joe’s son Beau Biden, after his death in 2015 at the age of 46, after a battle with brain cancer.

“OMG!” a Twitter user I wrote. “I’m very excited !! Just seeing @JoeBiden at @WhiteHouse with family, holding her grandson, dancing #LovelyDay! I’m crying again!”

Another individual posted, “are you normal or did you just cry over Joe biden holding a baby and dancing in front of his family.”

A third person tweeted, “My favorite moment, Joe Biden holding his grandson kind of playing with him. That’s class and grace.” The message included a heart emoji.
