JJ Abrams created an original thriller that received a serial order from HBO Max.
The streamer ordered Subject to change with To see writer and executive producer Jennifer Yale set to serve as showrunner and executive producer.
This series follows a desperate university student who signed up for a clinical trial that starts a wild, distressing adventure that breaks the mind and reality.
The drama is produced by Bad Robot in association with Warner Bros. Television. Abrams and Yale are executive producers along with Bad Robot’s Ben Stephenson. Rachel Rusch Rich of the company is an executive co-producer.
In addition to Apple TV + drama To see, Yale’s credits include Starz The Da Vinci’s Demons and Outlander, WGN America’s Underground, FX’s Legion and Netflix Cameras. His first job in Hollywood was as an assistant editor for Mel Brooks and Director of Development at Brooksfilms.

This is the latest news from Bad Robot television the week after it was announced that the producer was developing a reboot of Constantine on HBO Max with Guy Bolton. They are side by side with other projects on the streamer, including Duster and Neglect, the latter inspired by the work of Stephen King The glow.
