Jimmy Kimmel mocks Trump’s self-service Rush Limbaugh “tribute”

Donald Trump hasn’t called Joe Biden yet to congratulate him on winning the 2020 election. And Jimmy Kimmel knows why: he’s “too busy” calling Fox News.

“After 27 days in hiding, Trump called Fox News today to talk about his friend Rush Limbaugh, who died,” said the dawn host during his monologue on Wednesday night. “And what a beautiful tribute it was.”

Kimmel went on to broadcast the highlights of the first of two “interviews” over the phone that Trump gave Fox, ostensibly to praise the openly racist, misogynist and homophobic right-wing radio magnate, who died on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer lung.

But instead of talking about Limbaugh’s life, the former president focused mainly on the election he lost almost four months ago, saying things like, “Rush thought we won, and so did I.”
