Jimmy Butler says “I can’t wait” to introduce Victor Oladipo and Nemanja Bjelica to the culture of Miami Heat

After the Miami Heat acquired point guard Victor Oladipo and veteran Nemanja Bjelica, Jimmy Butler of the Heat had time to offer an enthusiastic endorsement to Oladipo’s talents.

He also expressed how excited he is to introduce them to the organization’s praised culture.

Oladipo, who turns 29 in May, returned to good form after some serious injuries resulted in a long rehabilitation and concerns that he could return to playing at a high level.

After starting the season with the Indiana Pacers, Oladipo was traded to the Houston Rockets in January and had a combined average of 20.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game this season .

The main reason why Oladipo changed his uniform so often before this season’s negotiation deadline is that he is scheduled to become a free agent this off-season.

However, there have been numerous reports that Oladipo was eager to join the Heat, which makes it likely that he can be signed for an extension of contract after this season, if the organization considers him worthy.

Oladipo is close to Heat legend Dwyane Wade, and considering Butler’s comments about what the guard can do, the transition to team roster should be smooth for Oladipo.

As for Bjelica, the expectation is that he will offer a valuable shot to Miami. Although his numbers have dropped this season, he has soared 38.8% beyond the arc over his career.

The Heat had struggled with a rough start to the season, but is currently in the middle of a streak of six consecutive defeats.

Oladipo and Bjelica have not yet entered the field with the Heat.
