Jets land Keelan Cole receiver at free NFL agency

The Jets landed another wide receiver.

Keelan Cole agreed to a $ 5.5 million one-year contract with the team on Thursday, according to several reports. Cole, 27, spent his first four seasons with the Jaguars and picked up 55 passes for 642 yards and five touchdowns in 2020.

Earlier this week, the Jets signed with former Titans receiver Corey Davis, a $ 37.5 million contract with a $ 27 million guarantee for three years. This was one of two major splashes for the Jets, who also hired former Bengals rusher Carl Lawson in a $ 45 million deal for three years.

The NFL Network reported on Thursday that the Jets held talks with free agent receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. It was not clear how serious these conversations were.

The Jets on Thursday also agreed to a deal with offensive guard Dan Feeney, confirmed Brian Costello of The Post. Feeney has started 57 games for the Chargers in the past four years.
