Trey Lance shouldn’t wait too long on recruiting day. The questions are: Who will recruit you and at what time?

The North Dakota star is one of the defenders who must hear his name in the first round of the April 29 draft.

Lance, who was 17-0 in his college career and launched just one interception in 318 career passes, will train for scouts Friday on North Dakota’s professional day.

Jets general manager Joe Douglas, Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot and coach Arthur Smith, Lions coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes, Panthers general manager Scott Fritterer and coach Matt Rhule and general manager of Washington Martin Mayhew are among them scheduled to attend, Albert Breer reports from SI.com.

Breer later added GM George Paton of the Broncos, Washington offensive coordinator Scott Turner, Panther offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen, Eagles quarterback coach Brian Johnson and quarterback coach of the Saints, Ronald Curry, as others expected to be at Fargo.

A source told PFT that the Bears and Vikings will also send representatives for the professional day.

Lance resigned in 2018 before leading the state of North Dakota to the 2019 FCS national championship. He played only one game in the fall before the school changed its football season to spring. Lance entered the project instead.
