The Jets reportedly agreed to the terms of former Titans receiver Corey Davis.
WR Corey Davis of the former Titans has reached an agreement on a three-year, $ 37.5 million deal, which includes $ 27 million guaranteed with the New York Jets, by sources.

After a relatively quiet first few hours of free agency that left many Jets fans unhappy, Davis represents the first big addition to the off-season.
Davis was chosen by the Titans in fifth overall in 2017, a spot ahead of where the Jets chose Jamal Adams. Although his career started off a little slow, he had the best season of his career in 2020, posting 65 receptions for 984 yards and 5 touchdowns.
My initial thought is that this seems like a really solid deal for the Jets on paper. Davis must be a major upgrade in a position of great need. We don’t know who the defender will be, but that player should be helped by Davis being around.
We will have more in the coming days.
In the meantime, I’m going to thank the Jets for making this change, literally, minutes after I wrote an article about how slow the first day of the free agency had been.
