The future of transatlantic business class travel arrives this summer, when JetBlue Airways has just launched its new Mint business class suites.

JetBlue had previously created a beloved business-class product with Mint, but promised to step up its transatlantic routes when European expansion was first announced.

The product would have to face legacy competitors on the London route and, at the same time, fulfill its promise to reduce fares in the market. JetBlue will have no shortage of tough competitors, as the New York-London route is among the most profitable in the world and has earned British Airways more than $ 1 billion alone.

Five airlines connect New York and Boston with London, including British Airways, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Virgin Atlantic Airways and United Airlines, each with their own proven business-class products.
