Rapper Lil Pump received a lifetime ban from JetBlue.

The 20-year-old rapper was on a JetBlue flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles when “he became verbally abusive to crew members after being questioned several times and refused to comply with JetBlue’s facial coverage policy,” said a spokesman JetBlue spokesperson in a statement.

JetBlue requires all passengers over 2 years of age to wear a facial cover during the flight as protection against the coronavirus. It was the first airline to do this.

“His return booking has been canceled and he is no longer welcome to fly JetBlue,” said the spokesman. “The safety of all customers and crew members is JetBlue’s first priority.”

Law enforcement was involved, although it is not clear whether any charges have been made.

JetBlue is not the only airline to ban those who refuse to comply with a mask policy.

Delta added almost 500 names to an air exclusion list in October. United also has a list, and American has banned those who refuse to wear masks on a case-by-case basis.

Lil Pump has openly supported President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly downplayed the virus and has repeatedly refused to wear a mask and mocked those who do, referring to them as “politically correct”.

The rapper was invited to Trump’s last campaign rally, where the president introduced him as “Little Pimp”.
