Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 has over $ 250,000 in options

A special Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 commissioned by none other than Jerry Seinfeld is being auctioned later this week.

Seinfeld is a prolific Porsche collector and has spent more than $ 250,000 to make this GT3 RS unique. For starters, it sports a liquid metallic blue chrome finish using the Paint-To-Sample program. Those who are familiar with this color can recognize it in the 918 Spyder. Elsewhere, the sports car is equipped with an axle lift, carbon ceramic brakes, the optional Sport Chrono pack, LED lighting, navigation and a larger 23-gallon fuel tank.

O Bonhams The listing reveals that the car had a tag price of $ 449,890 and lacks the normal rear wing of the GT3 RS, giving the car a unique appearance. However, the kite will be included in the sale.

Seinfeld drove the car for only about 1,500 miles, having done so in New York and California. It has a protective Suntek paint film to keep everything looking fresh and despite all options and a $ 449,890 window sticker when new, pre-auction estimates suggest it can sell for between $ 290,000 and $ 330,000.

As a model of the 991.1 generation, this GT3 RS features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine with 490 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque. Coupled to this high-speed engine is a double-clutch PDK transmission, sending power to the rear wheels, allowing the car to reach 62 mph (100 km / h) in just 3.4 seconds and 124 mph (200 km / h) in 10.9 seconds.
