Jerry Seineld lists his 27-acre ski retreat in Telluride, Colorado for $ 15 million

Jerry Seinfeld listed his extensive retreat in the mountains of Telluride, Colorado, 10 years after his first attempt to unload the property.

The 66-year-old actor and his wife Jessica Seinfeld are asking for $ 14.95 million for the 12,300-square-foot ranch-style property that sits on 27 acres and has 11 bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms and two half baths.

In addition, Jerry and Jessica listed a four-bedroom guest house on a separate 17-acre site for $ 2.775 million.

The Seinfelds bought the main house – built in 1991 – in 2007 for $ 7.55 million. A year later, they bought the guest house for $ 2.3 million, which they would have used as a caretaker’s home, according to the listing agent.

It is the second time that the avid skier couple has tried to sell the property. They listed it in 2011 for $ 18.3 million, but changed their mind after a few months and removed it from the market.

Jerry and Jessica often stay at the house, which is 10 minutes from Telluride Ski Resort, with their children Sascha, 20, Julian, 18, and Shepherd, 15, over the years.

Now that the children are older and the Colorado property market is heated, the couple decided it was the right time to sell the vacation home.

Compass listing agent Bill Fandel revealed that he already has previews scheduled, as he told WSJ.com: ‘Recognizing the strong demand for properties, they felt this was a good time,’

Designed to resemble a series of connected western ranch structures, the property is flooded with light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows in many of the rooms, offering stunning mountain views.

The property features a gym, a yoga studio and a four-car garage and also includes a stream and a private hiking trail system.

“After the Seinfelds bought the property, they remodeled and reinvented the whole place,” added Fandel.

The couple should have no problem unloading the property, as Fandel explained that Telluride is experiencing bidding wars and record prices.

Tom Cruise has just listed his next home for $ 39.5 million and director Barry Sonnenfeld has just closed the sale of his $ 13 million property in the same area as the Seinfelds.

Jerry and Jessica’s main house is an apartment overlooking Central Park on the Upper West Side. They also own a large beachfront mansion in the Hamptons, which they bought for $ 32 million from Billy Joel in 2000.

The comedian, who has an estimated net worth of $ 950 million, achieved fame on the hit 90s sitcom Seinfeld, which he co-created.

Last year, he released his new comedy special Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill in May, where he performed at the Beacon Theater in New York.

He also has his hit series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on Netflix, with Season 11 premiering in July 2019.

The comedy legend signed a multi-faceted production contract with Netflix in 2016, which included two new specials and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
