Jenny Cudd, ‘Proud’ Capitol Rioter, given permission to go on vacation in Mexico before the trial

You must have burst out laughing this week at the absolute boldness of the Capitol rioter, who asked a federal court to let her go ahead and enjoy the Mexican vacation she booked before the January 6 uprising. However, she laughed last, as the request was actually granted. On Monday, Jenny Louise Cudd’s lawyers asked the court for her blessing to leave the US and travel to Mexico’s Mayan Riviera for a “work-related bond retreat” that she had already paid for. According USA today, a U.S. magistrate approved the request and ordered that his pre-trial travel restrictions be changed to allow for travel. Cudd is on trial after being charged with a misdemeanor related to the January 6 riot. She posted a video on Facebook after the uproar in which she boasted that she had broken into the door of the Mayor of Nancy Pelosi’s office, and declared: “Damn, yes, I am proud of my actions.”
