Jennifer Lopez tore the ‘Let’s Get Loud’ reference during Biden’s opening

Although Jennifer Lopez received much praise for her performance at Joe Biden’s opening ceremony on Wednesday, there was a moment that left viewers perplexed.

The 51-year-old multi-hyphenate took the stage to present “This Land is Your Land” and “America the Beautiful”.

As his performance came to an end, however, the star sang the words “Let’s Get Lloud” – along with his megahit of the same name – before diving back to the end of “This Land is Your Land”.

The personal touch drew many negative reactions from viewers – many of whom suspected that Lopez was using the grand opening to promote his brand.

“Nah, I’m crying laughing at this, let’s talk out loud, lmfao,” wrote a viewer on Twitter.

“I didn’t get over J. Lo shouting ‘Let’s make some noise’ in the middle of patriotic songs,” another said.

“Jennifer just had to add a LETS GET LOUD in the middle of that melody,” wrote another, adding a series of skull emojis.

A fourth observed: “Gaga dressed as a Hunger Games sponsor. J Lo worked” let’s make some noise “in this land is yours. Everything about it is so extra.”

“When J Lo played” let’s talk out loud “for 0 reason while singing,” said a viewer.

Said another, “Miss JLO ………. Shall we make some noise? At the opening?”

Another viewer made a silly joke about it.

“……. Grandpa Aaron?” they wrote in the style of a two-way conversation. “Yes, little ones? Are you going to tell us about when Jennifer Lopez interpolated we are going to make noise with this land is yours in the possession of the 46th President of the United States.”

“Let’s Get Loud”, often considered one of Lopez’s hits, was featured on his first 1999 studio album, “On the 6.” It was originally co-written by Gloria Estefan.

The song reached number 39 on the Billboard chart in 2000 and spent 4 weeks on the charts.
