Jennifer Lopez she is officially a proud mother of two teenagers, as the twins Max and Emme just celebrated their 13th birthday! And according to star posts on Instagram, the party started earlier in the day. Lopez surprised his son and daughter even before they were fully awake with a luxurious breakfast in bed and shared all his various feelings about them growing up so quickly with his followers. On the morning of February 22, the star shared videos and photos on her Instagram feed and her story waking Max and Emme (who also goes by the name Lulu) with a luxurious birthday meal of Fruity Pebbles pancakes, confetti waffles, eggs and bacon. (Pancakes and waffles? This is a special occasion.) Lopez also serenaded them with some of the song “Good Morning” from the movie Singing in the Rain and gave each of them a birthday card with sincere words of pride and love.

“Do you know how proud I am of you? Who did you grow up in? I remember yesterday taking you two home from the hospital,” she said to her newly graduated teenagers, pretending to hold both babies against her body, “like that, in the middle of a snowstorm! “
Max and Emme were born “just after midnight” on February 21, 2008 in a Long Island hospital, according to Reuters. They were Lopez’s first, although the then husband Marc Anthony he already had three children from previous relationships.

In a 2020 interview with Oprah Winfrey, per Hi!, Lopez recalled being impressed by her children’s instant relationship with Alex Rodriguez. “It was like not, they really liked him,” she said. (Lopez and her father, Anthony, separated in 2014. Rodriguez has two daughters from his first marriage.)
