Jennifer Lopez seems to have a new friend in paradise, and just as the superstar tries to heal from her shocking breakup with Alex Rodriguez.
Rock star Lenny Kravitz, 56, who joined the cast of J. Lo’s upcoming film, “Shotgun Wedding” last month, appears to have left a good impression on his co-star.
Not long after Kravitz, the father of actress Zoë Kravitz, appeared on the set in the Dominican Republic, Lopez gave his daughter Emme guitar lessons from the handsome musician-actor (as seen in his IG). Lopez also recorded a seductive video of herself on the balcony of her DR hotel suite to the sound of Kravitz’s top chart hit, “Fly Away”.
Kravitz’s latest IG post shows him resting in a DR suite, reading a script and saying, “Get on this script. #Forced marriage.”
Lopez, 51, is currently filming the film, while Rodriguez, 45, is in Miami. This is the first time since the pandemic began last March that the couple has lived apart, and Lopez said recently that they had tried “therapy” to help with the relationship during the quarantine in Miami.
Page Six exclusively revealed on Friday that the A-list couple canceled their engagement. The couple started dating in 2017 and became engaged in 2019.
Lopez’s last post on her social media showed a montage of her laughing loudly. In contrast, his 13-year-old daughter, Emme, who was photographed on Lopez’s Instagram Story on Friday night, sobbing. Lopez made a video call to the girl, who was sitting on a bed being comforted by her father, Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Kravitz is a heartthrob in his own right – as well as a singer and songwriter, music producer and renowned actor. He is also known for posing shirtless in his luxurious hippie lair in the Bahamas.
“He’s a much nicer guy than A-Rod, but he’s also a player,” said someone who knows him to the Post. “Jennifer always says she hates being alone, but be careful.”
Kravitz dated supermodels like Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, musicians like Vanessa Paradis, actresses like Nicole Kidman and was married to actress Lisa Bonet, whom she divorced in 1993 after seven years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the alleged other woman in J-Rod’s split this week, “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, has been keeping a low profile. She admitted FaceTiming with Rodriguez at the beginning of last month, and was mentioned as a possible reason for Lopez to leave the A-Rod.
A friend of LeCroy’s in South Carolina told The Post on Saturday that she was known as a “great hairdresser”, but she also always made it clear that she had ambitions beyond Charleston. The source said that in June 2020, A-Rod flew LeCroy to New York in a private jet and had her sign a confidentiality agreement.
“She made it very, very clear that she wants a high-level life and the best things,” the source told The Post. “She was very good at what she did, but there was always drama with her clients, drama all the time.”
LeCroy told a source at The Sun that she was “furious” because A-Rod “never confessed her part of their relationship” before breaking up with Lopez.
The Sun reported that LeCroy was “taken by surprise” by the great separation. She said she “knew that Alex was having problems with Jennifer” since the news of their communication went public, but “I never thought they would really split up”.
Rodriguez, known for dating everyone from Madonna to Cameron Diaz, has a history of infidelity.
Zoe Gregory, a British Playboy model, told The Sun in 2019 that before Rodriguez proposed to Lopez, he was sending her inappropriate text messages. “J.Lo is amazing and she doesn’t deserve it,” said Gregory. “While he was getting ready to marry her, he was asking me for sex videos, demanding that we stay and asking me to make deals with other girls,” she said.
Lopez and Rodriguez may have postponed the separation due to the enormity of their financial complications. A source exclusively told Page Six Friday that an army of lawyers and business managers has been examining the details of J-Rod’s joint ventures and property portfolio in the past week.
“There have been frantic meetings at A. Rod Corp in the past few days on how to split up their assets,” said the source. “Jennifer and Alex have worked together on many business and real estate projects.”
“They were not yet married, so it is less complicated, and they both have a lot of wealth and have equally put their own money into various ventures.”
These projects include the agreement with the self-care company Hims & Hers, which made them investors in the company, as well as the partnership with Fitplan, collaborating with the application to offer fitness.
And there are a number of properties in New York and Miami, including a $ 33 million mansion on Star Island in Miami, which they bought together in August 2020.
But a separate source says: “Everyone who works on the business side of the couple is mainly saying, ‘Thank God they didn’t buy Mets'”.
“Even if the business had seen Alex and Jennifer making their own separate investments, it would have been a big mess to get out of it.”

A-Rod was also photographed in Miami on Saturday, while talking on the phone to someone he called “baby”. He claimed that he was not yet a free agent in a single scene.
If the couple remains in prison, industry experts say it will be Rodriguez who will be hit, not Lopez.

In 2017, he admitted that he had been a “donkey” for ruining his career and legacy because of PEDs.
