Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez split after their scandal with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
A source told Page Six exclusively that the couple finally decided to split up after the ex-Yankee was linked to the reality show star.
In January, Twitter was set ablaze with speculation after Bravo’s “Southern Charm” reunion special exposed allegations of infidelity involving an “ex-MLB star” and cast member Madison LeCroy.
LeCroy then revealed that he had done FaceTiming with Rodriguez, but insisted that they had not met in person.
“He never physically cheated on his fiancee with me,” LeCroy told Page Six in February, adding, “I don’t want anything bad for your family or mine. We are definitely innocent in that. “
The source told Page Six: “The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed about it. “
Sources close to Rodriguez also say they have never met.
Meanwhile, LeCroy co-star Shep Rose on Bravo told Us Weekly that there was “a signed NDA” between her and Rodriguez.
Lopez – who started dating Rodriguez in 2017 – also recently revealed that she and the 45-year-old man saw a therapist during the quarantine period.
“It’s been really good. We have to work on ourselves. We were in therapy, ”she recently told Allure.
And the 51-year-old star believes that counseling helped them during the blockade.
“I think it was very useful for us in our relationship,” she said.
Lopez and Rodriguez’s representatives did not immediately comment.
