The reunion of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez in the Dominican Republic is helping to repair their relationship.
Last week, the couple confirmed that they are “sorting out some things” after reports that they canceled their engagement. At the time, a source told Fox News that he recently “went through a rough patch.”
Sources now say the pair “are still engaged” and have been “happier” since Rodriguez met with Lopez in the Dominican Republic, where the two were recently seen kissing.
Lopez was in the Caribbean filming his next film “Wedding Shotgun”. A source told People that this time together personally “was great for them”.

“They are taking things slow,” continued the source. “They still have a lot to discover before their relationship is great again.”

“They are far from planning a wedding again, but they are still engaged,” said the Lopez source.
Reports of last week’s breakup pointed to rumors emerging earlier this year about an alleged romance between Rodriguez and “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy. A source told Fox News that a third party “did not contribute” to its recent editions.

Lopez recently revealed that she and Rodriguez saw a therapist recently.

The two started dating in February 2017 before they became engaged in March 2019. Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 13, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The daughters of Rodriguez’s co-parents, Ella, 12, and Natasha, 16, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
