The former Yankees hitter on Wednesday made yet another PDA-filled display with Jennifer Lopez in the Dominican Republic, during a meeting with his team. Back in his robe, Lopez had a smile from ear to ear as he spent time with Rodriguez and the two assistants.
At one point, the great baseball player put his arm around the “Hustlers” star and pulled it into a kiss while his employees watched. In another, he bent down to steal another kiss from her when she put her hand on his face.
The couple has been harboring a storm for the cameras since they announced together that they were “sorting things out” after the brief break-up last week, although they are clearly missing their huge engagement ring.
Despite several passionate displays, the sources told Page Six that J.Lo and A-Rod may not yet last.
Lopez, 51, is in the Dominican Republic filming his new film, “Shotgun Wedding”, with Josh Duhamel. Rodriguez, 45, flew to the tropical island last weekend in an attempt to save his relationship with Lopez.
“They had some great days in the Dominican Republic,” said a source. “They continue to work through things. That is the status quo now. They are together. “
Before the breakup, Lopez had “been very upset recently on set” for his film, and “for the past two weeks they haven’t been together and the last few days they haven’t been well … They are having some crazy issues.”
One problem, we report, was Rodriguez’s connection to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
The long distance in recent weeks between the “Jenny From the Block” singer and the retired 45-year-old Yankees first baseman has also caused tension.
