Jennifer Lawrence injured on set of next Netflix movie ‘Don’t Look Up’: reports

Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly healing an injury.

The 30-year-old Oscar winner was injured after a controlled glass explosion went wrong in Boston, according to several reports.

The star is there to film “Don’t Look Up” for Netflix, a comedy starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Timothée Chalamet also stars in the photo, and he was present for the explosion, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Production was temporarily suspended in the film, but Lawrence is expected to be back on set on Monday, the channel reported.

TMZ broke the news for the first time and said the scene was being filmed at 1 am when a shard of glass cut the actress’s eyelid.

The agency was informed that the injury “was not so bad”, although other details about the accident are scarce.

Netflix and Lawrence representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News’s requests for comment.

“Don’t Look Up” follows Lawrence and DiCaprio, 46, as two low-level scientists who embark on a media tour to alert humanity to their discovery: a meteor that will hit Earth in six months.

Despite their efforts, however, the world’s population is not very interested in what they have to say.

The film directed by Adam McKay is exploding with stars, as Meryl Streep, Chris Evans, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Matthew Perry and Himesh Patel have roles, according to IMDb.

Lawrence won an Oscar in 2013 for his role in “Silver Linings Playbook”. She received three additional nominations for “Winter Bone” 2010, “American Hustle” 2013 and “Joy” 2015.

She is best known for playing Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games” and its sequels, as well as Raven / Mystique in the X-men franchise.

According to IMDb, she has several projects in the development stage, while she should appear in “Don’t Look Up” and in a film called “Red, White and Water” this year.

“Don’t Look Up” is included in Netflix’s ambitious plan to release an original film a week in the year 2021, which also includes projects by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Halle Berry, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Garner and others.

A short clip of “Don’t Look Up” was shared in the Netflix movie announcing its launch plan for 2021.
