Jennifer Garner is open to restart ‘Alias’: ‘Sign up’

Jennifer Garner has great news for “Alias” fans.

In a new interview, the 48-year-old actress recently revealed that she is open for a reboot of the popular spy thriller, which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2006.

“Sign me up,” Garner told the Hollywood Reporter in his latest cover issue on Wednesday. “[I’ll] catch Bradley [Cooper — her former co-star and dear friend] the back of the neck. “

In “Alias”, Garner played Sydney Bristow, a double CIA agent posing as an agent of the criminal organization SD-6, while keeping his identity a secret from family and friends.

Although Garner has expressed an interest in restarting, nothing has yet been confirmed about the return of the series.

In a 2018 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Garner once again talked about a possible restart of “Alias” and revealed that it would be “totally different”.

“I heard that there is an Alias ​​reboot going on, but no one spoke to me about it,” she told the channel. “I mean, it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me as a guest, I would be very, very angry.”

“But I can’t imagine it being so serious yet, because I haven’t heard anything about it,” she added at the time.

Meanwhile, in her last interview with the publication, Garner also spoke about her highly publicized separation from Ben Affleck in 2015 and recalled the dream she thought she lost after the divorce.

“Going through it in public is not what is difficult, going through it is what is difficult, A,” she said of the divorce, which ended in 2018. “EB, my children’s eyes are on me.”
