Jennifer Garner is being candid about her divorce from Ben Affleck.
The 48-year-old actress recently spoke about her highly publicized Affleck split in 2015 and recalled the dream she thought she lost after the divorce.
“Going through this in public is not what is difficult, going through this is what is difficult, A,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in her latest cover issue on the divorce, which ended in 2018. “EB, the my children’s eyes are fixed on me. “
In an interview with Vanity Fair 2016 after the split news, Garner lamented about “[losing] the dream of dancing with [her] husband in [her] daughter’s wedding “- but now that Garner and Affleck have successfully established strong co-parenting skills, the actress no longer cares.

“When our kids get married, let’s dance, I know that now,” said Garner. “Let’s go boogaloo and we will have a lot of fun. I don’t care about that anymore.”
In another part of the interview, Garner revealed how she helped her three children – Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12 and Samuel, 9 – to process the publicity the couple received during the time she and Affleck were together.

“When they were younger and there were shocking things out there, my request to them was always, ‘Let Dad and I talk about whatever it is,'” she said, referring to controversial headlines from Affleck drinking, cheating and going out to rehab.
“I would say to them, ‘If you see a picture on the cover of a magazine, I will look with you and process any scary feelings that arise together.'”

Garner also talked about how the media frenzy surrounding his family put pressure on his children’s lives.
