Jennifer Aniston fans criticize David Letterman for licking his hair in a video that has resurfaced and gone viral: ‘Brute’

A resurgent clip of David Letterman licking Jennifer Aniston’s hair went viral, with fans reacting with disgust.

Letterman, 73, was criticized this week after critics shared resurgent clips of the longtime host conducting uncomfortable interviews with female stars, including Paris Hilton and Janet Jackson.

One segment receiving renewed attention is Letterman’s 1998 interview with Aniston, who was promoting “The Object of My Affection” at the time. During the interview, the former student of “Friends” shares a story with Letterman about a time when he met fans in the steam room of a gym. Later, Letterman moves his chair over to the actress and says, “Forgive me if that’s rude. I just want to try one thing.”

He then approaches her face and puts strands of Aniston’s hair in her mouth and sucks before slowly walking away. Aniston was laughing during the bizarre encounter, but was visibly in shock minutes later when she took a cloth to dry her hair.

“I’m sorry,” Letterman tells her in the clip. “Something to do with the steam room!”

“That was something I will never forget,” replied Aniston.

“Watching these interviews with David Letterman makes me cringe #Jennifer Aniston“wrote a Twitter user.

“This Jennifer Aniston interview about David Letterman in 1998 is still disgusting to watch,” another agreed.

Another person defended Aniston, writing, “This is horrible. We need to keep reminding ourselves that these things happen and still do in people’s daily lives.”

“I had no idea he was so disgusting,” another responded.

“I can’t understand how scary and disturbing this clip of Jennifer Aniston is on Letterman,” added a Twitter user.

The renewed attention of Letterman’s treatment of his guests while he was the host of “The Late Show” comes after a clip resurfaced of him interviewing Lindsay Lohan in 2007 went viral. In the clip, the host continues to ask the young star about his next season in rehab until she finally becomes so uncomfortable that she starts to cry.

Letterman’s 2007 interview with Hilton was also criticized. Letterman is accused of making her visibly uncomfortable when he continues to probe her with questions about her time in prison after violating her probation by reckless driving.

According to Glamor, the interview shows Letterman asking “Did you like being in prison?” almost immediately when Hilton takes the stage and the audience applauds frantically. The vehicle reports that Hilton did well and may have expected the uncomfortable questions about the arrest, but that Letterman continued to press her on the matter.

“It was obviously a very traumatic experience, but I did it,” she said. “I feel like I can do anything now.”

Finally, she got the host to promote her perfume line, after telling her that she would no longer answer her questions about the prison. After that, the vehicle reports that he lectured on his role as a model for young people.

“Now you’re making me sad that I came here,” Hilton said at last. “You are hurting my feelings.”

Other examples that have angered fans include their previous interviews with Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera.

A Letterman representative did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.
