Jeffrey Wright starring in the HBO Max Batman Podcast (exclusive)

Dennis McNicholas, a longtime writer on Saturday Night Live, wrote and directed the multi-episode series that comes from the Warner Bros. blue ribbon content division. and will come to Warners’ streaming service in 2021.

Audio adventures is separated from DC’s multi-year agreement with Spotify to create podcasts based on their characters. The most advanced is also centered on the bat; Batman Unburied has David Goyer as creator and executive producer. Blue Ribbon Content is also developing and producing this latest series.

McNicholas produced the project with Angela Petrella (Stone Quackers, Golan the Insatiable) Jon Berg, the former Warner executive producer who worked on Justice League, Aquaman and Wonder Woman, is the executive producer.

The plot details are hidden in Crime Alley, but it is known to be a comic version of the justice fighter who is drenched in rain.

Wright already has some connections with the bat, as he plays the classic character James Gordon in Batman, The next Warners movie starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.
