Jaz Sinclair to star in ‘The Boys’ spinoff for Amazon – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Sabrina’s chilling adventures former student Jaz Sinclair was cast as the protagonist at Amazon’s The boys spinoff, which is approaching a formal green light series.

Sinclair will play the role of Marie, one of the young superheroes. She joins Lizze Broadway, who plays young superheroine Emma.

Written by The boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg, the untitled The Boys spinoff is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and directed by Vought International). It is described as an irreverent and irreverent series that explores the lives of hormonal and competitive supers, as they put their physical, sexual and moral limits to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. The spinoff is from the entities behind the original series – Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television in association with Point Gray Pictures, Kripke Enterprises and Original Film.

Rosenberg will serve as executive producer / showrunner in the spin-off of his general deal with Sony Pictures TV. The Boys’ developer / executive producer Eric Kripke and his fellow EPs, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver of Point Gray Pictures; Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty from the Original film; Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson are also executive producers. Sarah Carbiener, Erica Rosbe, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira and Zak Schwartz serve as executive co-producers. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Amazon Studios, in association with Point Gray Pictures, Kripke Enterprises and Original Film.

Based on the best-selling comic by Ennis and Robertson, The boys, In its third season, it is a fun and irreverent version of what happens when superheroes – who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as gods – abuse their superpowers instead of using them for good. It is the helpless against the superpowered as the boys embark on a heroic journey to expose the truth about the seven and Vought – the multi-billion dollar conglomerate that manages these superheroes and covers up all their dirty secrets.

Sinclair has played Rosalind Walker in all four seasons of Sabrina’s chilling adventures. His other credits include Easy and The Vampire Diaries. She is represented by UTA and Creative Partners Group.
