Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the first Celtics duo to accomplish this incredible feat

The Boston Celtics need Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to carry them on both ends of the court in the 2020-21 NBA season, and they delivered on a big Wednesday night.

OC’s won a 122-121 victory on the opening night over MVP winner Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in an exciting way.

Tatum pierced a 3-point shot to win the game with 0.4 seconds remaining at the end of the fourth period. Antetokounmpo was fouled in the ensuing Bucks possession but missed his second free kick, which would have tied the score.

Tatum finished with 30 points out of 12 out of 28 shots, while Brown led the Celtics with 33 points out of 13 out of 24 shots.

This duo made Celtics history for their scoring ability in the first game of the season, as the league’s statistics account on Twitter noted after Boston’s victory.

The Celtics will return to the action on Christmas Day against Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets. Boston will need its double star to have another great performance if the Celtics want to beat a very talented Nets team.
