Before the Super Bowl, Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians said he would not be surprised if quarterback Tom Brady signed an extension that would keep him under contract beyond the 2021 season.
Winning the Super Bowl only seems to make it more likely that both sides will find a way to keep things going and general manager Jason Licht was asked if an extension is on the cards when he appeared on The Rich Eisen Show. Licht said he would keep his conversations with Brady “secret now”, but signaled that something was in the letters.
