Obviously, there was a task to be done, so I was certainly focused on it, but a lot of emotions . Having my family here was really cool too. “
Coach Beamer confirmed the addition of the former Gamecock and the NFL Pro Bowler Patrick DiMarco for the football team. DiMarco will act as a Football Analyst and Assistant Director of Football Relations.
“Obviously, what he did as a player speaks for itself,” said coach Beamer. “We told that to our team – here’s a guy who was a little under-recruited coming to Carolina, to have the career he had here and then to have a 10 or 11-year career in the NFL, do two Pro Bowls, play in the Super Bowl. He has a fantastic history. He will be a great resource for us as a team. He will be here to help our attack and special teams as an analyst and assistant.
