That’s what friends are for.
On Sunday, Jason Bateman recorded his participation in the Golden Globe 2021 at the home of his friend Jennifer Aniston.
“Bateman came and brought the @goldenglobes with him,” revealed Aniston, 52, in his Instagram story, next to a photo of the “Ozark” star sitting with his daughters Francesca, 14, and Maple, 9.
The “Friends” star also joked, “Daddy and I did a little cameo,” referring to a photo of her and her father, John Aniston, near Bateman’s montage.
In a separate clip, Bateman – who was nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama, in turn as Martin “Marty” Byrde in “Ozark” – was seen sitting behind a laptop while a crew member apparently used a piece Aniston’s art as a fill for a reflector.
“My painting by number has finally found its calling,” joked Aniston about his frog rearing.
Longtime friends, Aniston and Bateman, have appeared on several projects together over the years, including the comedies “The Switch” and “Horrible Bosses”.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the first virtually Golden Globe broadcast on Sunday from opposite ends, with Fey in New York and Poehler in Los Angeles.
