○ The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) announced a Impact of $ 952 million for 2020 across the state. ○ Charlestonians were looking forward to the great revelation of objects in a time capsule under the John C. Calhoun statue since it is discovery was announced earlier this week. The Charleston Area Regional Transport Authority (LETTER) + SCDHEC are partnering to bring COVID-19 test for two main hubs. As of February 1, there will be mobile test kiosks in The CARD Mary Street stop, (63 Mary Street) and in SuperStop LETTER (3376 Rivers Ave.). No appointment required. Gobble Gobble, a food truck from Austin, Texasis coming to Palmetto Brewing Co. (289 Huger St.) permanently. Gobble Gobble came to Charleston in 2017 + is known for its turkey burger. They will be open Monday to Thursday, from 4pm to 9pm.; Fri + Sat, 1pm to 9pm.; and Sun, 1pm to 7pm, starting in February.

○ Marcus Lemonis, from CNBC’s “The profit”, Is challenging Americans to help those who lack of access to food + to give back to local restaurants during the pandemic by launching the Plating change, a Lemon-Aid Foundation program, established in October 2020.
