It has recently been revealed that Jane Fonda is about to receive a prestigious tribute at the 2,021 Golden Globe Awards.

The Hollywood veteran and star of Grace and Frankie Jane Fonda was recently chosen for a great honor at the 2021 Golden Globe. The 83-year-old legend, who won 7 Golden Globes and 15 nominations, will receive the Cecil B. deMille Award at 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards 2021, which will air on February 28.
Golden Globe released a statement via Instagram and announced: “The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is very proud to award the Cecil B. deMille 2021 Award to Jane Fonda,” said HFPA President Ali Sar in a statement. “For more than five decades, the breadth of Jane’s work has been anchored in her relentless activism, using her platform to address some of the most important social issues of our time. His undeniable talent earned him the highest level of recognition, and although his professional life has changed, his unwavering commitment to bringing about change has remained. We are honored to celebrate your achievements at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards ”.
The award is a great honor and has been awarded to major celebrities in the past. Some names of the winners include Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges, Robert De Niro, Audrey Hepburn, Harrison Ford, Jodie Foster, Sophia Loren, Sidney Poitier, Steven Spielberg, Denzel Washington, Robin Williams and many more.
Although the ceremony usually takes place in January this year, it has been postponed due to the global coronavirus pandemic. The global pandemic has delayed the entire award season around the world, not just the Gloden Globes.
