Jane Fonda has no interest in remarrying

Jane Fonda is happily single.

During a virtual conversation before the 2021 Golden Globe, the actress was asked if there was something she has not yet achieved and wants to accomplish.

“I’m going to tell you something that I didn’t get, which is a successful marriage,” replied Fonda, 83.

“But the second part of your question is, ‘Do you want to?’ I don’t want to, ”she continued. “See, I live alone. I don’t have a guy who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry and who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry and get up.

“I’m not threatening anyone. I can watch whatever I want on TV. So I never want to get married again. But it is something that I wish I had been better at. “

The “Grace and Frankie” star was married three times: first with French director Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973, then with politician Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990 and finally with CNN founder Ted Turner from 1991 to 2001. In 2017, Fonda and music Tycoon Richard Perry broke up after an eight-year relationship.

Fonda joined the chat with Norman Lear, who answered the question about achievements by saying, “I still didn’t make it tomorrow”.

Fonda is being honored with Cecil b. Sunday’s Golden Globe deMille Award, while Lear, 98, is receiving the Carol Burnett Award.
