Jamie Lynn Spears calls her Tesla a ‘cat killer’ after accidentally hitting several family pets

Jamie Lynn Spears recently revealed that she tragically ran over several pets with her electric car, which is almost silent while accelerating and driving.

After accidentally backing up and killing her daughter’s cat, called Turkey, the 29-year-old actress recorded an appeal to Tesla CEO Elon Musk about the dangers of creating cars without reverse beeps.

‘I know there are bigger things to worry about in the world right now, but someone has to let Elon Musk know that Tesla is a secret cat killer. And it’s a problem, we really have to fix it, ‘she said in a video in her Instagram story.

She continued: ‘We have now lost, I don’t even want to tell you how many cats because they don’t hear Tesla Crank and unfortunate things happen. And it is really devastating and tragic for everyone involved. ‘

Then the actress suggested that Musk add a feature to the brand’s luxury vehicles, which would prevent animals from being hit by a car in reverse.

‘So, as Tesla is so quiet, maybe he could, like, make one of those noises that bother cats or animals’ ears when he raises, so that they know something is going on and are not caught off guard. And things don’t end in a very tragic way, ‘proposed Britney Spears’ younger sister.

Addressing the South African-born American businessman directly, she added: ‘Elon Musk, let’s find out. I mean, you owe me some cats.

‘Yes, I am fully aware that there is some user error involved in this, but I’m just saying, you know, we are going to collaborate to save the lives of some cats,’ she concluded.

Pulling the company and strings from the hearts of fans further, she filmed her two-year-old son, Ivey, whom she shares with husband Jamie Watson, apparently asking about the whereabouts of her deceased feline.

Jamie is also the mother of her 12-year-old daughter Maddie, whom she shares with ex Casey Aldridge.

Last year, she told ET that her eldest daughter would be the perfect choice to play a younger version of her for a reboot of Nickelodeon’s hit show Zoey 101, which ended in 2008.

Jamie Lynn starred in the comedy as Zoey Brooks, a teenager who enrolled in a boarding school for boys in California.

It ran from 2005 to 2008 and was one of the network’s most popular shows during its heyday.

During the show’s final season, Jamie Lynn, then 16, found out she was pregnant with her boyfriend at the time, Casey Aldridge.

She gave birth to daughter Maddie in 2008 and became engaged to Aldridge the same year. The pair later split up in 2010 after an intermittent romance.

Zoey 101’s potential restart would presumably see the star reprise her role as the main character with her daughter Maddie playing her at the same age she was when the show was initially filmed.

“I think we’re still talking and figuring out how to tell the story in a way that does it justice, because we want it to be good,” said Jamie Lynn.

Adding: ‘We want this to relate to the fans. That’s why the show worked in the first place, because we connected with our fans and where they were in their lives.

‘So, we want to make sure that we find a home and the best story to tell.’
