Jaguars, Roy Robertson-Harris agree to three-year contract

The Jaguars made a defensive splash at the start of the free agency.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, Jacksonville agreed to the terms of former Bears defensive line player Roy Robertson-Harris in a three-year contract. Garafolo reports that the deal is worth $ 24.4 million with a guaranteed $ 14 million.

Robertson-Harris signed with the Bears as a UTEP non-hired free agent in 2016, staying at the club for his first five seasons. Robertson-Harris has played 52 games, with 13 games since his debut in 2017.

Robertson-Harris started six games for the Bears in 2020, generally appearing in eight before undergoing shoulder surgery at the end of the season in November. He had 10 tackles in total, five QB hits and one loss tackle. Overall, Robertson-Harris has 7.5 sacks and 30 quarterback strikes in 52 disputes.
