Mike Glennon won this week’s musical chair set in the Jaguars quarterback room.
Glennon will start on Sunday against Bears, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Jaguars announced this week that Glennon would be competing with Gardner Minshew this week to get the initial job.
Minshew played the best of the three Jaguars quarterbacks this season, although neither Minshew, Glennon nor newcomer Jake Luton looked particularly good.
Some will wonder if the Jaguars really want to win on Sunday, as they can guarantee first overall choice in the draft by losing their last two games. They prefer to have Trevor Lawrence instead of Glennon or Minshew as a full-back next year.
The Bears are trying to stay alive in the NFC wild card race, and now they will face a former Bears quarterback.
