Jaclyn Smith paid a moving tribute to her late “Charlie’s Angels” co-star Tanya Roberts on Tuesday by posting an online photo of the pair alongside third TV colleague Cheryl Ladd.
“Tanya joined #CharliesAngels for the final season, closing it off as it was originally planned with a redhead, a brunette and a blonde, ” wrote Smith on Instagram next to the photo of the beautiful trio.
“She brought joy to so many people and had a career spanning decades. Goodbye, angel, Rest In Peace, ”added Smith of Roberts.
Roberts, 65, died in a Los Angeles hospital on Monday night – the day after she was wrongly reported as dead in a riot between her longtime partner and publicist.
Roberts apparently died of a blood infection that resulted from an initial urinary tract infection and hepatitis C, his partner, Lance O’Brien, told the Post.
The actress appeared in the last season of “Charlie’s Angels” from 1980 to 1981.
She was also an ex-Bond girl, appearing in the 1985 James Bond film “A View to a Kill”, and previously starred on TV “That ’70s Show’ ‘, among other roles.
“Rip Tanya Roberts, once a Bond Girl, always a Bond Girl!” wrote actress Britt Ekland – a Bond girl in the 1974 film “The Man with the Golden Gun” – on Twitter.
