Jack Dorsey first tweet auctioned $ 2.5 million dollars

Jack Dorsey’s first tweet is being sold as a non-fungible NFT token, and the current highest bid is $ 2.5 million.

Dorsey’s tweet of March 21, 2006, a simple five-word line that says “just configuring my twttr”, was put up for bid on a platform called Valuables. Originally, the offer for the tweet started at $ 80,000, later taken over by tech entrepreneur Justin Sun for $ 2 million. The biggest offer now comes from Sina Estavi, CEO of Bridge Oracle. For those who are not yet familiar with NFTs, it is basically the property of the original code for the virtual item, and you cannot exchange it for other NFTs. In the case of this tweet, buying your NFT will be like getting a certificate that says you are the owner of the original tweet. This tweet will go online as long as Dorsey or Twitter decide to keep it.

In case you missed it, Twitter is now testing an undo button for tweets.
