According to the report, that decision was made after it was discovered that 17.8% of people recently infected with coronavirus in the country carried a new strain recently discovered in Britain.

Ski industry officials complained that they had invested heavily in preparing slopes and cable cars, but the government denied them permission to open. They say the last decision was made at the last minute, which means that the clues were preparing to open when the decision was made.

According to AP News, Premier Mario Draghi has promised to make up for the industry for its economic losses.
