CNN medial analyst Dr. Leana Wen, former president of Planned Parenthood, made very revealing comments about how it is easier to force people to get the Covid-19 vaccine when they do not have their freedom.

She expressed her concern that collective immunity would not be achieved due to the hesitation of some Americans to receive the vaccine – labeling them as antivaxxers.
“I know that it is difficult for many people to believe, that they desperately want the vaccine now. And they’re thinking, ‘Oh, well, it’s just a small percentage of people who are anti-xxxxxers.’ And that is true, ”said Wen.
“There is an anti-scientific and anti-xxxxx contingent,” she continued. “But I think there are a lot more people, millions of people who, for whatever reason, have concerns about the vaccine, who just don’t know what it offers. And we need to make it clear to them that the vaccine is the ticket back to pre-pandemic life. And the window to do that is really narrowing. I mean, you were mentioning, Chris, about how all these states are reopening. They are reopening at 100 percent. “
In other words, you must get the vaccine to get your freedom back. And the problem in his mind is that if states reopen without forcing everyone to get vaccinated, there will be no motivation for them to do it later.
“And we have a very narrow window to link the reopening policy to vaccination status,” continued Wen. “Because otherwise, if everything is reopened, what will be the carrot? How are we going to encourage people to actually get the vaccine? That’s why I think the CDC and the Biden administration need to be a lot bolder and say, ‘If you get vaccinated, you can do all of those things. Here are all those freedoms you have, ‘because otherwise, people are going to go out and enjoy those freedoms anyway. And I fear a situation of entering the fall, where we will never achieve herd immunity, and then we will be hit by the next wave of COVID-19, in the fall, something that we could have avoided if we just vaccinated people now. “
