Kristin Cavallari has no regrets about ending her marriage to Jay Cutler.
In a post on her 34th birthday, she reflected on her year, which officially included the separation of the former footballer in April.
She wrote: “33 was a crazy year, to say the least. The ups and downs, ups and downs. But I can honestly say it was one of the best years of my life. Much growth and opportunity. I feel like I’m back in my old self and it’s really good. This is 34. ”
The black and white photo showed her eating out with a birthday treat in front of her. In her Instagram stories, she revealed that her children were among her dinner companions.
At the beginning of the quarantine, the founder of Uncommon James and Cutler announced that they had separated – after an extended vacation with their three children. It was very bitter at first, but they seemed to calm things down and even celebrated some holidays together as a modern family unit. (He also plugged in his latest cookbook.)
But the Very Cavallari star made it clear that he was happy with his decision, saying in September: “It has worn me out every day for years. I feel like my whole world is opening up now because of this, and I am feeling the best I have felt in a long time. I am very excited about the future. “
She also said that they have had relationship problems “for years”.
And she is dating. She was linked to comedian Jeff Dye – and he accompanied her on her trip to Cabo in December.
“Here’s what I’m doing now,” she commented in October. “I’m getting divorced, obviously. My kids will always be first, but in addition to them, I am becoming a priority now. “
And as Cavallari closes that chapter – and ends his reality show – the drama continues. In a new interview, Very CavallariShannon Ford talked about Cavallari’s resignation at a time that aired in the second season of the reality show. Ford also explained his lunch with Cutler last fall, something the show’s devotees were going crazy about at the time.
