Looks like Ioan Gruffudd decided to end his 13-year marriage with Alice Evans.
In a deleted tweet, The Vampire Daily actress wrote that the The fantastic four actor “has announced that he will leave his family, starting next week.” Alice, who shares daughters Ella, 11, and Elsie, 7, with Ioan, added: “Me and our daughters [sic] they are very confused and sad. We were not given a reason, except that he “doesn’t love me anymore”. I’m so sorry.”
After her shocking post, Alice received a series of responses from other Twitter users, including one that I wrote, “It seems like a strange thing to post on Twitter …” In response, she tweeted, “Why? I lost my mind.”
An actor representative then shared the following joint statement on behalf of Ioan and Alice: “As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
The couple met on the set of 102 dalmatians in 2000 and married seven years later, during a ceremony in Mexico. In February 2020, Ioan offered a rare insight into his marriage in an interview with The Guardian.
