Update: Just to avoid any doubts, the developer of Hitman IO Interactive reconfirmed that the next Hitman 3 will be released on the Switch on January 20 along with other versions of the game – in its cloud version, of course.
Original Article (Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 11:30 GMT): Hitman 3’s official opening cinematic has been released, giving us another juicy tease of what will come when the end of the trilogy arrives on Switch.
If you need to update quickly, Hitman 3 will be the third and final chapter of the World of Assassination trilogy afterwards Hitman and Hitman 2. It will be released on the Switch in January along with other versions, but the owners of the Switch will have to settle for a cloud version – meaning that you will have to stream this to your console with a solid Internet connection, instead of to be able to download the game itself.
The trailer shows the series’ famous star, Agent 47, taking action in Dubai. We would say that there is a good chance that this could end up being the scenario for the first sequence of the game, but we will have to wait and see.
