Ingraham: Stacey Abrams trapped by herself

In her monologue “Ingraham Angle” on Friday, host Laura Ingraham noted that former Georgia state deputy Stacey Abrams, a leading Democratic figure in the state, appears to have damaged her own cause with the growing corporate setback against the new law. election approved there in week.

INGRAHAM: It turns out that bowing to warriors of social justice is really a dangerous and self-destructive strategy. Case in point: Democrats’ lies about Georgia’s voter integrity law, equating it to Jim Crow, sent all sorts of far-left activists on the path of the “Boycott Georgia” war. Including that marginal figure, that guy, President Joe Biden, who eagerly boarded the Punish-Georgia train in an interview with ESPN.

And Stacey Abrams, the mentor behind this fraudulent attack on Georgia’s voter identification law, was also caught in a trap she had created.

CLIP OF STACEY ABRAMS: To our friends across the country, please don’t boycott us … I understand the passion of those who call for boycotts of Georgia after the approval of SB 202, but here’s the deal. Black, Latino, AAPI and Native American voters whose votes are most repressed under SB 202 are also the most likely to be hurt by potential boycotts of Georgia.

INGRAHAM: None of this makes sense. Here is a question for Ms. Abrams: if Georgia is really trying to resurrect Jim Crow’s ills and segregation, then how could companies remain there in their right mind? Shouldn’t everyone, even low-income voters, have to sacrifice themselves to force companies to get in line?
