Ingraham: Biden-Harris double pattern in response to “blatant and pathetic” riots

The attack on the Capitol building during the counting of votes at the Electoral College on Wednesday shook the nation and was denounced by both sides of the political corridor, Laura Ingraham told viewers on Thursday.

However, “The Ingraham Angle” host added, Democratic leaders, specifically President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, did not rebuke this summer’s destructive Black Lives Matter protests with the same vigor as the attack on the Capitol.

“All violence is wrong, no matter what the instigators’ policy is supposed to be,” said Ingraham. “But the double standard here is stark and pathetic.”

On Thursday, Biden referred to the pro-Trump protesters as a crowd of “thugs” and called for the agitators to be brought to justice. According to Ingraham, the president-elect never used this type of rhetoric when referring to BLM protesters who destroyed public property, looted stores and “brutally” attacked Americans.

“The violence, incidentally, continued throughout the summer, with many of the bandits encouraged when the media removed their cameras,” she said.

Liberal officials even “bowed” to the BLM crowd, said Ingraham, noting Oregon Governor Kate Brown, who declined President Trump’s offer to send the National Guard to Portland to ease weeks of unrest.

Meanwhile, Biden and Harris responded to the Capitol turmoil by pushing a barrier between right and left and “demonizing” Trump supporters.

“Biden and Harris are signaling the next period of retribution against supporters of President Trump,” she said. “But soon, I think they will see that they demonize tens of millions of Americans – trying to break them down, silence them – none of this will work.”

“After Biden is sworn in and starts waging the usual Democratic war against the working class,” she predicted, “conservative populism will be ready to make a big revival of a comeback.”
