Indonesian nurse suspended from service for having sex with Corona patient in hospital bathroom

New Delhi: In a horrific incident, a nursing staff in Indonesia was suspended from service after being found having sex with a corona patient in the hospital bathroom. According to the latest updates, the nurse was placed in an isolation ward after trying to become intimate with a coronavirus patient without his personal protective suit. The incident took place inside a bathroom at the Wisma Atlet quarantine facility in Jakarta. The whole matter came up after the patient, who was Covid-19 positive at the time, posted details about the same on social media. In WhatsApp screenshots shared by the patient, the nurse’s PPE kit can be seen spread out on the bathroom floor while things heat up between the pair. Hospital officials started the investigation shortly after the video went viral on social media and the nurse was suspended after he admitted having removed his PPE kit in the presence of a coronavirus patient. However, the case has now been turned over to the Jakarta Central Police.

After the meeting, those due were tested for coronavirus. While the patient’s test was positive, the nurse’s test was negative for coronavirus.

Since the deadly coronavirus spreads through droplets, sexual intercourse and even intimacy, such as kissing, are strictly prohibited if someone has symptoms associated with the coronavirus.

The two were later arrested by the Jakarta Central Police under the country’s strict pornography laws after the incident was widely publicized and ridiculed on social media in Indonesia.

In front of the coronavirus, the country registered 727 thousand cases, which registered more than 21,000 deaths due to the pandemic.
